I'm not somebody always claiming somebody got robbed but Luciano Perez really did. No way did Carlos Baldomir win that fight. He looked old and slow and was rocked by Perez over and over
I didn't watch the whole fight very closely but Baldomir did seem to struggle with him in every round I saw.
You can only take so much. Baldomir's chin is probably eroding and his skills are rapidly diminishing. I'd say he's shot...
The guy did beat Zab Judah, Arturo Gatti, and Josh Clottey. So I would say he was a pretty good fighter.
The point is he beat Judah prepared or not. Gatti was actually still live in that fight. And he beat Clottey when he was heavily favored to lose.
He wasn't that good to begin with - nothing more than a regional journeyman who got lucky to face an unprepared Judah and a shot Gatti.
