Lucien Bute refused Mikkel Kessler's offer of a fight!

Kessler pursuing Stieglitz rather than jumping on a Bute fight was the very first legitimate news we got after the buzz from Kessler's tune-up settled down.

 

Why doesn't Bute just come out of the closet?
There are a lot of gay athletes in hiding, afraid to let the
public know they prefer the company of men. This guy can really
make an impact on the entire sporting world by just being true to himself.

 

I just don't buy that Bute is going to be a KO artist against elite level hardly anyone is at 168 so I don't think Bute is.
He's going to land shots that have Ko'd past opponents and the kesslers froch's wards dirrels abrahams of this world are going to keep coming.When I watch bute I just don't see the immense power everyone else seems to see.

The only thing I know is just a statement from The Romanian boxing federation president. AKA as a close person of Bute, who said that Kessler was offered "few" or "a couple" of million dolars. Wich makes me thing it was at least a 2 or 2. someting offer. That the only thing I've heard about numers. I wander what did Kessler offered now ...

2 millions + European TV rights? Or without them? We need to know all the details before making an opinion on an offer. At least, we know Bute made an offer. Sauerland? Nothing points in that direction for the moment.

All we know is Sauerland was working for a Stieglitz fight before receiving the offer from Interbox to face Bute. A fight they had agreed to make a few months ago. Sauerland changed his plans and anything he says from now on must be taking that into consideration.
