Lucien Bute vs Chad Dawson who wins?

    surely this wouldnt go the distance who knocks who out?

    bute would box his head off thenknock him out in 5 or 6 rounds

    Dawson would knock him the fcuk out.

    Bute can't compare to his achievements.

    if your swedish then im a skinny somalian

    bute was a long lasting world champ he reigned for a long time whilst being good to watch, he destroyed many B level fighters
    whereas Dawson was completely boring to watch and can't crack an egg, he was hyped up to be something he wasn't

    Bute has the better technical skills and would either knock him out early or make him look stupid

    Bute got squashed like a bum the first time he stepped up in competition.

    Dawson at least beat Adamek and Hopkins, twice.

    Dawson at LHW would have the clear cut advantages in power and in just his overall boxing ability. He'd have a chance to stop Bute in the late rounds, probably 8th or 9th.

    Bute lost to a great fighter in 5 rounds
    Dawson lost to an unknown fighter in Stevenson
    which is the more embarassing, it's quite clear

    plus Dawson got knocked out in 10 rounds by Ward, and got stopped by Pascal,
    Dawson has more losses

    hate all you want on Bute but no one can deny he has a lot of talent

    resume wise they are about the same when you add in Dawsons losses
    but if they fought Bute would stop him, Bute is too heavy handed for Dawson glass jaw, Froch said himself he could feel Bute's power

    Bute defo has more power, Dawson hasn't stopped anyone since 2007 :lol:

    Because he fought the better opposition, Bute ducked Pascal for years and years, and Dawson was only stopped due to a cut, he was getting in Pascals arse at the time of the stoppage.

    Bute by mid rounds KO......

    And no, Lucian wouldnt shattered Dawsons glass, b/c Dawson don't have glass. He's just a slow starter and got caught cold underestimating Stevens.

    Bute would however beat Dawson to the punch as he's got the better footwork and is a faster starter. He would eventually land the L hand to Dawsons liver, and Dawson does fade in fights as well, so Bute's body work would defo have a better effect on Dawson than they did on Grachev.:think

    Actually a pretty good match-up. I'm not sure who would win but there's no option for that so I'll say Bute KO because I think one of them gets KO'd and Dawson looks a bit more shot imo.

    Dawson's resume is far superior to Bute's and he has shown he can fight at a level above anyone Bute has beaten. Wins over Adamek, Johnson and Hopkins would make him a clear favourite over Bute.

    Dawson fought like an idiot against Stevenson we shouldn't write him off based on one bad performance and losing to a top P4P fighter in Ward.

    Both are coming off bad losses but only one has proven he can compete at the highest level. Dawson on points, he's simply bigger and better.

    Both great fighters but both now mentally weak following KO losses. Chad Dawson I don't think is ever going to win the spotlight again but Lucien still has potential. He's a great body puncher, very unique.

    Both are broken fighters. But Dawson, with his head screwed on straight, would beat Bute at 175. 168, obviously, would be a different story, as Dawson cant make the weight and stand upright
