Rodriguez beats him in a close and dull affair that somehow finds it's way on a VHS tape in Larry Holmes' living room. Larry watches it and demands Rodriguez stop ducking him and sign for a much anticipated rematch.
Rodriguez would apply a little more pressure than Lubbers and take a close Decision. Rodriguez was a little better fighter than people give him credit for.
