http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/ne...e-michael-mcgurk/story-fn406g2e-1225938379485 Can't say that I'm that surprised.... I knew both the Gattelari Brothers .... and they are both slimeballs.
Both had handy fight careers Oz. But until now they are probably best remembered for their money grab twin comebacks at the Hordern Pavillion, in 1979. Rocky, after about 10 in retirement put up a disgraceful performance against Paul Ferreri, lasting about 3 rounds, and Lucky after a handful of years retirement, did little better against Barry Michael. Money, money, money!
whats changed in modern boxing?? zero, it's still about money money just ask Grren, Mundine and now Brigsy
No arguments there Kel. The Rocky Gattelari 'comeback' was a total and absolute sham, and made all the more ridiculous by the fact that it was for an Australian title. Then again, Briggsy's was for a world title - OMFG!
Lucky Gattelari's guilt or inocence is for the courts to decide... ....but it's hard not to see the funny side of his mouthpiece claiming he's claustrophobic and therefore not suited to imprisonment! McGurk murder accused This content is protected : lawyer by KIM ARLINGTON - The Fliders News - 14 Oct 2010 A man charged in connection with the death of Michael McGurk has claustrophobia and is finding it difficult being confined, his lawyer said. Former boxer Lucky Gattellari, 60, of Chipping Norton, has been charged with solicit to murder and being an accessory after the fact to murder. Mr Gattellari was one of four men charged yesterday in connection with the fatal shooting of Mr McGurk. The 45-year-old businessman was shot dead outside his home in Cremorne in September last year. Police say financial and business dealings provided the motive for the killing. Officers from Strike Force Narrunga arrested Mr Gattellari, Haissam Safetli and Senad Kaminic at a business address at Chipping Norton yesterday. Christopher Chafic Estephan, 20, from Harrington Park, was arrested at Kings Cross police station. Mr Safetli, 45, from Elderslie, faced Parramatta Local Court yesterday charged with murder and solicit to murder. He did not seek bail and was remanded in custody. Mr Kaminic, 42 from Liverpool has been charged with being an accessory before and after the fact to murder. During a brief appearance via videolink today in Central Local Court, Mr Estephan did not apply for bail. The magistrate, Lee Gilmour, formally refused bail remanded him in custody to face court again on December 9. Mr Gattellari and Mr Kaminic were not brought up from the cells today when their case was mentioned at Liverpool Local Court. Barrister Tony Bellanto, QC, appeared on behalf of both men today but did not apply for bail. He asked magistrate Beverley Shurr if Mr Gattellari could be psychologically assessed on his admission into custody as his client suffers from claustrophobia. "Mr Gattellari suffers from chronic claustrophobia and he's having a lot of difficulty being confined," Mr Bellanto said. Ms Shurr agreed and ordered he be assessed by Justice Health staff. She adjourned the matter until October 28 when both Mr Gattellari and Mr Kaminic will appear before Central Local Court. - Kim Arlington and Bellinda Kontominas are Herald Court Reporters
Bracken is a ****in idiot. His bull**** opinions regarding the melting point of steel is a classic example of an internet expert way out his depth. The day they start testing building integrity by flying fully laden planes into them is the day when Bracken might actually use his brain.
