Nothing lucky about that.. Williams simply did not see the shot coming. Those do the most damage, hence Williams' reaction.

i didn't notice that. i just thought he got really lucky with the timing and angle of his punch. if something was off by an inch in any direction, or a fraction of a second, williams gets stunned but then recovers.

He landed 2 other quality left hands in the 30 odd seconds leading up to the KO.

    Lucky shot?

It looked like a punch out of a Rocky movie. Martinez and Williams landed at exactly the same time, only Martinez had better technique, accuracy and power. I think Williams needs to improve his defense, he leaves his chin unguarded, he did the same thing against Cintron and against Quintana.

Lucky shot my ass. It was timed and if you watched the first fight Williams did catch similar shots many times but handled it better. This time he didn't see it coming and it just finished him. Martinez and his team didn't lie when they admitted they planned for something like this knowing how open and engaging Williams can be.

If you know boxing you know the term lucky shot doesnt exist, everytime a fighters throws a punch its to hurt,if it lands, how is lucky?..also martinez tried that same shot at least 5 times...to my surprise nobody is saying what a shitty referee they had...not giving martinez a shot to get to close,at one time, they werent even clinching and he got them to break, huggin them and ****...

That was not a lucky shot.

Sergio landed that exact punch 2/3 times in that second round. He knew exactly what he was doing with it.

Not lucky, he was completely aware of the opening.

Williams had this coming, it was inevitable. Cintron could have done it, but...

Exactly. just like in the 1st fight the HBO team gave Sergio little credit for the things he was doing. I actually scored the first round for Martinez because of the nice left hands he was landing flush. Williams was more wreckless and was not winning the fight like manny kept saying.
