Soto would destroy Concepcion right now.

luevano is really boring as ****. jabs all the time. would have been a good solid test though but luevano fights tend to put me down to sleep.

    bring it on concepcion.

Here's the part of the article that mentions Soto. It's phrased in a way that is open for interpretation.

Top Rank will replace the bout on the televised portion of the card it is co-promoting with Golden Boy. It may turn to junior lightweight titleholder Humberto Soto (47-7-2, 30 KOs), who blew away Antonio Davis in the fourth round to retain his title in his first defense last Saturday night on Top Rank's "Tijuana Thunder" pay-per-view undercard.

    Wish I was.

I'm not exactly sure Soto would replace Luevano but if he did Concepcion would give him a descent scrap.

Completely agree. This had the makings of an action fight which is exactly what was needed for this PPV audience after the Pac-Hoya under card fiasco. I really hope they salvage this fight with a live opponent.

Oh OK . . . IT SAYS top rank will replace the bout . . . and if it's a junior lightweight fight . . . it's not gonna be Concepcion for sure.

Concepcion is a 122 pounder going up at 126 not 130. :deal

He doesn't have to . . . the article says TOP RANK is changing the bout not just Luevano . . . so It's Soto vs somebody else not Concepcion. :D

Makes sense. Soto would also represent as a drastic leap in competition level that wouldn't be most logical move by Concepcion's handlers.
