    Round 5

Solis comes in, leaving a berth between him and Lazarte looking to avoid his wild slapping flurries that include rabbit punches and elbows. Solis pokes with a long jab, skewering Lazarte against the ropes. Lazarte goes down from more of a trip/shove. Ruled slip, correctly as Solis raises his arms and circles away to show it was accidental. Lazarte gets up and starts dancing around in front of Solis, mugging and not doing anything. Solis looks to land a jab to the body but Lazarte is all balled up tight, crouching with his arms up and darting away from everything Solis throws. Solis lands an uppercut as Lazarte rushes in with one of his wild flurries. They pass each other like ninjas in the night, and Lazarte taps Solis on the body with both hands.

    50-45

The commentators have it a shutout for Ulises as well.

    Round 6

Lazarte circles out wide, and looks to run in at Solis from behind, grabbing him as Solis turns to square up. The referee gets in his face warning about roughhousing. Solis lands his 1-2 while advancing, measuring up the moving target and timing his lunges. Lazarte uses a lot of hesitations and feints, darting in before abruptly pulling back halfway into range. Solis keeps jabbing. Lazarte circles and swats with a hook, too far away. Nice 2 punch combo by Solis catches him on the chin. Solis doubles his jab into Lazarte's face and lands an uppercut to the body before getting grabbed. Lazarte has his head snapped slightly by a jab.

    60-54

There is some jawing face to face at the bell and the referee has to break them up assisted by their chief seconds.

    Round 7

Solis down!! Wtf happened?? That was so fast. I can't tell if he was pushed or what. The referee runs over to him and holds his arms as he gets quickly right back up. Was that an actual count (ie going through the motions of one, as though it were a KD)? :huh

Anyway, Solis settles right back in behind his jab. Lazarte is emboldened a bit by whatever happened, rushing in with his gnat-like flurries. Solis counters a right hand with a nice left hook to the side of the head and then converts it into a jab straight into the face as Lazarte is pulling away. They clinch and get broken up with a cautioning word from the ref. Lazarte clamps onto him and works the body. Hits to the kidneys and behind the head by Lazarte. Solis circles along the ropes. Lazarte back off of his own accord. Solis starts to come forward and Lazarte rushes back with another one of his wild flurries. Good hook by Solis on the turn. Lazarte runs in and grabs him and hits while holding Solis in an arm lock.

The slow motion replay of the beginning of the round shows that Solis was circling away from a wild Lazarte flurry and just lost his balance and peeled out into the mat. Lazarte was throwing punches but they didn't land. It looks like the referee waved his hands no (as in "no knockdown") and it sounds like the commentators agree, saying "correcta decision".

    Round 8

Solis is landing jabs and throwing uppercuts to the body from long range. UGH! Lazarte is complaining and the referee warns Solis for LEGAL BODY SHOTS. Solis shrugs. Now Solis switches tacks and starts to double up left hooks around Lazarte's protective high right glove. Solis is dropping the 1-2 hammer on him as well. Solis is moving around Lazarte, boxing him effectively from long range. He is better served avoiding the pocket, where Lazarte can land illegal blows (and accuse Solis of doing the same).

    10-9 Solis

Both stand in their corners. Gamesmanship.

Lazarte's people spray him down with something from an opaque bottle.

    Round 9

Reckless exchanges initiated by Lazarte. They spin together, with leather flying until the referee steps in and spatulas them apart. Solis starts to land his 1-2 from outside. Lazarte ducks and dives his way in, leaning side to side until he can grab and hit. Solis resumes jabbing on the outside and not letting Lazarte in without paying the toll. Lazarte simply turns sideways and crab-runs past Solis' jab to grab him. They clinch and spin - and Solis is down, rolling around on the mat. WTF?? Lazarte PUNCHED HIM IN THE BACK OF HIS TRUNKS RIGHT UP HIS *******, AND THEN RABBIT PUNCHED HIM HARD ON THE BREAK!!! :fire

Solis only takes a few moments to gather himself, despite being in obvious pain.

Lazarte is laughing about it in the neutral corner.:fire:fire:fire

Solis doubles his left hook to the head, circling away. Lazarte tries to crowd in and gets hit a few more times. Lazarte is still laughing and grinning. Solis nails him with an uppercut and left hook combo. Low blow by Lazarte. Another. Solis isn't bothering looking for help from the ref. Lazarte is down at the end of the round, from more of a push. He stays on his knees holding the bottom rope and looking pathetic, perhaps hoping the referee would admonish Solis.

    Round 10

Solis slides backward with his feet flat, drawing Lazarte in and tagging him with jabs, hooks and uppercuts. Solis is warned for something by the ref. Now a point deduction from Solis???? WTF? What is going on here?

    The commentators sound ****ing livid.

Solis keeps jabbing out long. Nice uppercut by Solis as Lazarte comes flurrying in. They clinch hard with Lazarte billygoating a little and Solis pulls his head out of the fray and glances over at the ref, annoyed. Solis is holding his arms up high and behind his head, trying to make it absolutely clear to the ref that he isn't the one initiating all the grabbing and rough stuff. Lazarte keeps trotting in sideways and unloading combos of low blows, elbows and rabbit punches. This is absurd. Solis throws a combo backing up and talks **** to Lazarte while following him into his corner. Lazarte's cornerman physically shoves Solis away.
