I think Conlan will call it a day now.

He never recovered after the third round tonight and as others said it was a knockout waiting to happen.

Too bad he never got his shot at Super-Bantam, because it seems he just does not have the strength to mix it at the highest level for 12 full rounds, and who knows how much the Knockout to Wood took out of him.

Interesting you say that, as have a mate who went over with him for the fight and he says he thinks the same. Didn’t show his face last night apparently, not that you can blame him for that.

Ref 122lbs, I agree he should give it a run there, he’s never been a fully fledged featherweight. He could probably beat one of the champions there. Esp as there are 4 belts per weight class ffs.

It really was an excellent show by Conlan Boxing last night, just a shame it clashed with 2 other shows. Hopefully this won't happen again.

This was the show I was least interested in but ended up watching most of it.

BT Sport was the best last night, followed by Sky and DAZN UK ended up with 3 real stinkers to end the night.

 

When my child is born I’ll just play Terri Harper and Jack Catterall fights to get him/her to sleep.

 

I had exactly the same feeling. Wasn't expecting much from the Conlan Boxing show on BT Sport last night but it ended up being the best (by a clear mile).
