    They guy went 7 rnds and was practically blind in one eye. Stop it if he was hurt. He wasn't. The flurry landed one or two punches and none hurt Abe.

    Lopez, make sure you don't run up to 130 when Inoue moves up and comes hunting for your soul because your ass is toast after thumbing a deep Japanese brother in the eye like that.

    It's a bad stoppage any way you slice it. the eye was bad but you stop it for that, not some weak flurry where almost nothing landed clean while Lopez was playing to the ground.

    Morales fought with worse and against a more dangerous opponent in Maidana. Refs nowadays are very paranoid.

    These are prize fighters they fight for money, glory but most of them also have a strong sense of pride. You really are robbing a fighter of that with a garbage stoppage like that.
