I agree how come Collazo hasnt gotten any more fights the kid is quality and has been ****ed twice and broke the thumb vs Mosely. Boxing is so hard to make it in even quality doesnt guarentee anything. I want Collazo to get paid man deserves it.

Will NEVER Happen!!! Collazo is way too much skill. He Moves well, solid defense, and a damn good boxer.

If he was Slow as Peanut Butter rolling down hill, with no defense...THEN IS WOULD BE A GUARANTEED FIGHT...I.E. Hatton, "Dehydrated" Oscar and "Mr. NO-DEFENSE" Cotto.

He;s always a round off. I had him beating Hatton and Berto by one point, but had no problem with the decisions really, those fights were razor-thin close.

he's a difficult fighter and is a well rounded fighter with good skills, not too mention heart as he came off the canvas vs. Mosley and Hatton. He just never gives up. Too bad Hatton and Berto never gave him rematches. They knew better. It's alright man. As long as he doesn't give up he can upset an up and coming fighter and take it from there. He would probably make alot of noise at 140. He should simply keep doing what he's doing. His lack of punching power is a big factor i think and brings lack of interest to the mainstream.

He fought and won against a David Gogichaishvili in June 09. That's the only fight after the Berto fight.

Im not sure what the problem is , he needs a break ???? he fought Hatton and lost a close decision , Hatton was moving up and was the stronger fighter , lost to Mosley ok that happens to most , but then his last real chance loses to Berto??? so he has had three bites of the cherry and lost all three , although two were close if he was good enough it shouldnt have been close. Also he doesnt sell tickets.

The guy writes a thoughtful, respectful post on an under appreciated fighter and that's your only comment? Collazo is from NY and his entourage carries a PR flag into the ring with him. Hardly seems too far off base to me. Lighten up.

I appreciate that des3995, and hopefully Collazo gets more appreciated by the boxing industry also.

colloazo is a VERY VERY good fighter but he's just barely found a way to lose in his two biggest fights. i could see him winning versus hatton but he left it way too close. against berto it was even clearer. not by a lot though. my thinking is most quality fighters don't get one chance he got THREE. 1)left it too close against hatton 2)lost CLEARLY (**** the excuses) against mosley 3)left it too close/lost against berto. 3 strikes collazo, time to step up to the ****ing plate

I think you're getting nationality and ethnicity confused.

Bit like Clottey in that one sense. Seems to be better but won't push it.
