So shane loses in a highly controversial fight, gives Cotto a war, and now suddenly he's **** the bed? Even now Mosley would make Berto his *****....however were talking about a more competitive fight....try mentioning your thoughts on just how Berto beats Collazo......

and do you really think Berto could give Cotto all he could handle for 12 rounds? If so I would really question how long you've been a fan of this sport...or are you Bertos neighbor?

Andre Berto is too fast too strong, for Collazo.....

Collazo is the hard luck guy here robbed vs Hatton and a broken hand vs Mosely lets see Berto get away with not fighting Collazo, I wonder what they will pull,

My problem with Loui C is that he poses too much. Either he is waiting for to throw that perfect shot or he admires his work. When he fought Hatton he almost had Hatton out and he just didn't pull the trigger cause he was posing a little more than he should have.

Berto although still a good fighter I can't consider him champion material because he beat that Tomato Can for the vacant WBC title.

If Loui comes in and throws more he may be able to take Berto, but if he poses too much he may fall victim to Bertos accurate punching.

Good point - a more ruthless approach in the last would have had Hatton out of there, instead he was scratching his head and running around the ring. His corner must have told him he was down before the 12th because for the first two minutes of that round he was rampant.

As I have already said, I had Hatton at least two points in front throughout the fight, and scored it 114-112 in his favour. The key for me, other than the KD, was the 11th round where he did just enough to get the 10 points.

i had the Hatton/Collazo fight 114-113 for Hatton. I think Collazo has what it takes to beat Berto in this stage of his career, but i also thought he had what it took to beat Mosley at that stage of his career and upset Hatton. If the match gets made (i hope it does) i would slightly favor Berto because so far he has delivered, and i think a match against Collazo may just catapult him to his best performance of his career and be solidified as a threat to the others at the top of the WWD.

Collazo just needed to sieze the moment against Hatton, because if ever he was there for the taking, it was then.

If there had been a rematch I would have backed Hatton to have won much more comfortbly on points.

Yeah hatton was ripe for the taking, I mean watching that fight in boston especially in the twelfth I thought here we go another brit going to lose. To be fair that was a blueprint for hattons downfall.

    Possibly the blueprint, yes.

The times when Collazo was successful were when he got into a bit of a dirty battle and was prepared to have a slugging match - generally when this happened before (and since) the opponents have just folded and taken the inevitable L.

It also showed how vulnerable he was to the right hook, everybody knew he ate plenty (espec the left) in a fight but to be fair I was impressed with his resolve and bottle - as it would have been easier to lose.

Andre Berto is damn good. Got speed, Power, great Stamina, and aggressive. Not to mention he is a big welter. You will see how he smashes collazo to pieces just as or more impressive than Shane.

Collazo is a good slick southpw who could give berto kittens. It will be a good fight and a step up in class for berto.
