Wow, this would have been a major step up in class for Brook if it was the old Collazo. Unfortunately, Collazo of today is a bit of a mystery. On the comeback trail from his very good performance in a close loss to Berto over three years ago (where many thought he earned the nod) he's had: a non-televised win. a two year layoff. another non-televised win. a decision loss to slow but powerful puncher Freddy "The Rail" Hernandez - again not televised on the non-broadcast portion of the Hopkins vs. Dawson I PPV undercard So...:conf
Actually, based on disturbing developments in the Hernandez loss (Luis was knocked down in the 9th and ran like a ***** throughout the tenth) you may well be right. :verysad Although Brook doesn't have as much raw power as Hernandez, he's obviously a much sharper puncher and overall better fighter. It would be the first time in over ten years Collazo was stopped.
Collazo is irrelevant. Brook would not take the fight nor should he. He should look to fight the Guerrero-Aydin winner next.
