Collazo should win this easily. Vargas gave much better than expected performance against Khan but on the other hand Khan was awful that night.

Styles makes fights and Collazo is better techinician than Khan. Collazo potshots, outboxes and maybe even stops Vargas.

Khan flashy style is not working against pressure fighters but when someone tries to box against khan they surely can end up being outboxed by his flashy and fast combos. Collazo and Alexander for example.

Also I can't get out of my head that Finnish Jussi Koivula kicked Vargas ass. If he did that, surely Collazo will also.

Rivera was a hard luck guy, I remember his fight with Mayorga was ruined when Mayorga came in like 10 pounds overweight and it was cancelled

Collazo doesn't normally lose trench fights unless it's against elite guys so I don't see him losing this one. Vargas's style is come forward and Luis on the inside (even old) is still a capable guy and he's solid. Collazo, I'd say grinds out a late stoppage, then get's put in with someone elite and loses a wide decision. That's usually how his career goes.

Unofficially I think we can all agree Collazo has a win over Ricky Hatton. One of the most consistently underrated fighters I've ever seen.
