whats the deal with him? When is his next fight?

Collazo/Berto II has to go down...and Hatton/Collazo II

I think Collazo is the type who has trouble getting fights. Occassionally he gets a big fight vs Hatton, Mosley or Berto but inbetween he has to settle for fighting cans. Collazo is a skilled Southpaw not many guys wanna fight him.

You're exactly right. You can beat him, but you may not look good doing it (unless you're Shane) and he could really test you (a la Ricky and Andre). I really like watching him fight. He's the perfect gatekeeper really: if an upcoming guy gets a fight with him and beats him, you know he's got some skill.

Also, I read on FanHouse or something that PW was considering him for a May 8th date. Not sure if there's any merit to that.

Yup the only guy of the 3 who beat him clearly was Shane and we know Shane is one of the best in the world now and the last 20 years.

Heard that but im hearing its Cintron right now. Collazo is what gives Williams trouble a craft Southpaw who can counter punch.

Collazo could possibly beat Williams worse than Quintana did in Quintana-Williams 1.

Yeah, I think the same article mentioned Cintron as well, I was thinking he'd be a better option for PW than Luis. Cintron brings more power to the table, but he'll be there to be hit a bit more and Collazo is way slicker.

I doubt that. He isn't as slick defensively as Quintana is.

i agree with this and it's about as nice as I could ever be. he's a great test, makes it a tough, ugly fight against everyone he fights and unfortunately whines endless when he loses in his 3 big (and occasionally unearned) opportunities. if he fights williams, he'll get retired

^ yeah I think P-Will would **** him up pretty badly .. the sheer punch volume IMO would get to Luis.

a shame and kind of disappointing that Collazo is known most for his losses (Hatton, Berto and Mosley)
