Round 1

Mosley is rubbing his jab all over Lopez's face, artlessly but with high volume. Hard body shots by Mosley, plugging away. Headbutt. Cut. Time in. Lopez is standing in with Mosley, fencing. Both parry and shoot the jab by turns. Mosley is dropping in body shots and shoeshines on the face.

This isn't as bad as the Mosley that lost to Mundine, but is about exactly the same as the Mosley that got a gift over Cano...

He should hang 'em up.

 

Mosley possibly over-prepped? He was oozing sweat already in the 1st?

You don't want to come in too dry but you shouldn't be fresh out the car-wash either.

 

Actually, yeah, it was Malignaggi against whom Cano was jobbed... Mosley vs. Cano was just close enough to go either way. (itself not a great look for Mosley)

 

Round 2

Mosley is thumping Lopez on the chest with the jab and flurrying in his face. Lopez is rowing out the southpaw jab and clapping the left down on Mosley's shoulder. Mosley attacking in bursts, making Lopez trade with him. Time out to check the cut on Mosley. Time in. Lopez down late. Saved by the bell. Doing a spastic dance when he stands up.

Round 3

Mosley is doing his jitterbug thing, shaking his forelimbs and twitching his upper half as he stalks and throws lead rights at the body or steps inside reaching for Lopez's face with flurries. Lopez is hurt by a short overhand right while flipping up jabs and left hands from the hip, boldly choosing to brawl with Mosley at close range without his defense up.
