Palmero now having success backing De Gracia to the ropes and working his body, De Gracia goes back to using his jab to keep some distance and doing the better work on the outside.

Palmero overreaches and get caught with a hard counter left uppercut, De Gracia goes to work on him backing him to the ropes, Palmero comes back pushing De Gracia back but De Gracia counters him well not allowing him to pin him down Palmero gets him on the ropes and works him over a little, but not enough to steal the round.

De Gracia hurts Palmero pushing him back along the ropes throwing uppercuts to the body, Palmero is fading, he stuns him with a short uppercut, Palmero comes back throwing uppercuts to the body of his own.

Palmero once again hurt De Gracia goes to town on him, and Palmero comes right back, De Gracia landing sloppy counters off the ropes, both men look half dead.
