Decent effort after so much time on the shelf versus a game journeyman but I can't help but think Vásquez is too old to make an impact anymore. He also looks insanely old in the face in his interview. He was champ 12 years ago, right around when I started posting here. Crazy.

Núñez jabbing in multiples, drawing a counter and then countering Herrera's counters in combination. Very precise left jab setting everything up. Nice variation on altitude, speed, and hardness of punches. Herrera stymied, lobbing hapless uppercuts off the ropes. Núñez pushes him into position with the left forearm and tees off with straights. Wild leaping hook by Herrera misses.

More textbook combos from Núñez. Herrera's only effective defenses are the earmuffs laying on the ropes and clinching. Whenever he winds up to hit Núñez back he gets lit up worse.

Utter rout, Herrera just surviving.

Herrera tying up non-stop. Finally down from a body shot. Takes a knee from accumulative effect and stays down.
