Garcia keeps hooking away with his left and right, and gets Castillo backed into a corner!! Huge volley by Garcia, ripping away to the body as Castillo leans against the turnbuckle and covers up high. Dozens of unanswered left and right hooks to the body by Garcia! Finally Castillo steps out as Garcia pauses for breath. Jabs by Castillo, but his timing and location are off and he's missing and getting backhanded by Garcia's own slow but heavy jab. Wild left hook by Castillo, ducked. Garcia is stalking now, ducking back when Castillo throws lead rights over his head. Clinch. Garcia stuffs in an uppercut. Castillo circles left and misses some jabs, then has another right hand ducked and his waist grabbed.

Round 3

Castillo throws some lead rights, not really taking aim with them, and they're either sliding down Garcia's left side and at best clipping the side of his head or missing altogether. Hooks to the body by Castillo, getting in and clinching. Garcia has his left arm low now, and is looking to counter with big hooks from the hip when Castillo comes forward. Clinch. Garcia knocks Castillo back with a right hand. Wild left hook by Garcia, ducked. Clinch. Sloppy trading on the inside, underarms grinding against each man's face as they flap ineffectively at each other while entangled.

Round 4

Castillo pushes his left arm out to hold Garcia back, then fires lead rights to the body while allowing some give. Garcia is trying to swing out wide hooks to the body and overhands up top, but Castillo is able to hold him at range and either flash jabs in his face or land the right hand to the body. BIG right hand by Castillo, catching Garcia square on the cheek after a couple of missed lunges and forcing him to hold.

Round 5

Both miss big overhand rights. Clinch. Neither seems to get that you can't load up big high-rising shots when there's a paper's width between you and your opponent. Lots of clashing arms overhead and grappling. They step out and Castillo gets a jab to the body working. Garcia puts his head down and tries to hook his way in with low lefts and rights. Castillo throws a big left uppercut stepping forward and almost elbows Garcia in the nose with his follow-through. Slapping left hooks to the chest and side of head by Castillo as they envelop each other in yet another clinch. Garcia carries Castillo toward the ropes but can't get his arms pulled free enough to punch.

Round 6

Castillo loads up rights from outside but falls in with them, and losing their straightness accordingly. Sinkerballs. Garcia still has that left down low, hopping in place to await Castillo nice and loose. Clinch. Rabbit punches by Castillo. Break. Another clinch. Ref is being kept busy. Any time one of them throws something they wind up knotted. Castillo tries to pull straight back and land a counter right but Garcia is able to jump in and plant a hook on him. Uppercut by Garcia pushing Castillo back.

Round 7

Garcia takes short steps forward, swaying his head to slip Castillo's jabs. Garcia closes the distance and hacks at the body sidelong before Castillo steps back and circles toward the ropes. Castillo is now imitating the low-left stance, keeping his right forearm close and parallel to his face. Garcia dives down going for the body, then shoves Castillo back to jab at him. Castillo is trying to execute leads with his right folded up by his chin, and just brushing Garcia's shoulder and setting the table for more clinching. Wild left hook by Garcia, spinning himself around, ducked. Straight flurry at the bell by Castillo.

Round 8

Castillo is circling on the outside, giving Garcia lots of room. Castillo darts back and forth, shifting his weight rapidly from rear foot to lead without ever taking a full step toward Garcia. Wild lunging 1-2 by Garcia. Castillo steps back and dodges. Right hand lead to the body by Castillo. Clinch. Break. Castillo circles out to the left and then falls in with a left hook to the stomach. Garcia slaps over the top at him with both hands. Clinch.
