Tonight at 9pm Panama time (10pm EST) the flyweight blood and guts warrior takes the second step in his second comeback following his second career loss...and second knockout at the hands of Mexican archrival Hernan "Tyson" Marquez. TV Max will air it live on Panamanian television and on their website www.tvmax-9.com for the world audience as part of their Noches de Campeones series.

See how El Nica vented his frustrations at being so easily vanquished by Marquez in under two minutes this past October on his last opponent, Oscar "Baby" Gallardo, in March:

When life hands you lemons (by getting you KTFO in a single round), make lemonade...by destroying someone else just as quickly. :think

And, going back to just before the Marquez rematch, look how angry he was about the first loss...taking it out on poor Chango Vargas....

:scaredas: Losing to Tyson Marquez really tends to **** this guy off!!

Tonight he has imported Odilon Zaleta from - guess where? - Mexico. Baby Gallardo and Chango Vargas were both Mexicans as well. :hey

Perhaps Luis is making statements with his selection of opponents? Could he be trying to psyche himself up for the possibility of a third try against Marquez, if he can earn it?

Thanks didn't know Concepcion was fighting tonight, He should move to Super Flyweight, That is a ghost town IMO,

Well, Mayol and Miranda did move to Super Flyweight for there fight so not to sure it's as open anymore if they stay.

Wouldn't quite call it a ghost town.

Chokchai, Narvaez, Sato (who upset Chokchai just recently), Singwancha, Goofi Montes, JC Sanchez Jr. - there are some decent challenges there if El Nica gives up on chasing Marquez and moves up.

I don't think he need to move up, necessarily. I don't blame the KO1 loss to Marquez on weight drain, and he looked fantastic blowing out Gallardo. I think with his heart and power he still matches up very well at flyweight not named Tyson Marquez or Brian Viloria. He could probably steal Jaro's belt, as long as he didn't get caught with any stupid punches.
