Nery takes ten punches, throws one and gets the stoppage? Terrible day for boxing. Two big fights destroyed by early stoppages.

A tad premature IMO but the "better a punch too early than a punch too late " rule was applied .

 

Upon second inspection, Hov was out of it and looking down defenseless. Ref saved him from serious damage.

 

Nery looked super strong and durable in there, he already got caught cheating once, wonder if he's back on that Mexican meat.

 

Endings not withstanding. Very enjoyable main events today.

its about how i saw it. didnt keep score but felt sure nery was winning it at time of stoppage.

 

I had Crazy A ahead by a point so perhaps I was seeing the wrong things.

 

nery was just causing more damage. azat doesnt have any head movement so he catches shots flush, while neri manages to roll with a lot of the shots. the results show on their faces. nery was also more accurate in the exchanges as far as finding the sweet spots. he could have made it easier for himself without the bravado and showboating.
