Wow, Pat Russell an Lou Moret both in the same building and judging the same match, I could have sworn they were the same person.

 

As an HBK fan, it makes it impossible to root for him.

 

Round 1 Cobbs 10-9

Cobbs keeping at bay with his fast jab early, Steve bringing the pressure trying to close the distance. Steve gets in close, they hold, Cobbs clips him and knocks him off balance. Steve overshoots with a right, Cobbs nails him flush with a straight left. Cobbs playing it safe landing counter lefts and uppercuts on the backfoot.

 

Round 1 Cobbs 10-9
Round 2 Villalobos 10-9

Steve using better head movement now, gets in with a looping right, he's cutting the ring off better, Cobbs peppering him with jabs and lefts, not sitting down on most. Steve jabbing better, gets in another right. Cobbs lands hard left, Steve fires back with a right, then lands several more hard rights up top, then goes to the body. Another lands up top. Villalobos cracks him hard late.

Cobbs a little more cautious, Steve gets in, tags him with a right, fight goes to the middle of the ring, he gets in another right. Villalobos gets him along the ropes, digs a hook to the body. Big right hook jars Cobbs, Villalobos gets in two hooks to the ribs. Cobbs lands one two, slips away, Villalobos sill stalking, both men still cautious, Cobbs lands a big left. Close round.
