    Has anyone seen this?

It doesn't go along w/ my chronological boxing, but it's a brief clip I discovered on youtube sometime after I finished constructing my 20s fight list. Actually, I'm almost done with 1929 fights, and this one is from 1925.

The little exhibition that takes place between Firpo and the fly there about confirms my suspicion about if a heavy fought a fly. The flyweight hit Firpo time and time again, but had entirely no effect on him. Yet Firpo couldn't hit him. The whole thing, brief as it was, I thought was pretty amusing to watch.

I came in here hoping it'd be actual footage of Firpo vs. some flyweight instead of a theoretical discussion on if Jimmy Wilde could outlast him for the distance. I was pleasantly surprised.

I feel like an ATG flyweight might be able to beat an oaf HW by being impossible to hit, and just waiting for the HW to gas out completely. Let's say Canto vs. some big clumsy guy.

On the other hand, a quick HW (let's say Tyson) vs. ANY flyweight is going to be murder, literally.

Yeah, I gotcha. I feel like someone like Canto could beat someone like Firpo. Just from watching him fight Dempsey, he wasn't really that good of a fighter.

A lot of the punches weren't landing, which no surprise, he was having to leap in to throw them.

I think Firpo would've blasted him out had he wanted to. He was just a kid so Firpo just played with him.
