Should be a pretty good fight given Nery's and Figueroa's styles, and the winner of this will go on to face Stephen Fulton in a WBA/WBC/WBO clash in September. Who are you fellas picking? i like figs i really do, but i dont think he has that dog in him the way nery does and when the fights breaks out into a war, i think Nery will be too much and will most likely get a late stoppage. We'll see.

Nery is too reckless and leaves his chin out far too often, he's open as hell to counter hooks, one of these days someone who's heavy handed with fast hands and a good chin, will capitalize on that, and knock him spark the **** out. That day, will be Saturday.
This is not a unification fight as Brandon Figueroa has the WBA Regular title. The WBA Super Champion Akhmadaliev is already unified with the IBF. Good fight and I think Nery will win but this should not be recognized as an unification.
