I made the first thread on this site for him, and I'm the guy that picked him to beat Yamanaka THE FIRST TIME, so shut your ****ing mouth. I was a fan of Nery's and knew who he was a few years before you'd ever heard of him. I don't hate him. I'm just not delusional or driven by nationalistic fervor. Nery is a KO waiting to happen he's too goddamned reckless for his own good. And lets be honest, what would Inoue and Donaire do to all of Nery's recent victims? The same damn thing.
Can't properly say. While i thought donaire was very game against burnett and deserves a round or two i still can't say how much he has left courtesy of that anticlimatic ending. Ill wait after the tete fight. But right now i expect donaire to give nery fits might even knock him down as nery has been knocked down by lesser men but ultimately lose by competetive decision. No he won't knock him out donaire has underrated toughness. Nery would have to be a lightweight come fight night to do that.
