Sanchez doesn't want to awaken the fighter in Hammer right now. Big mistake.

    Round 1 - 10-9 Sanchez
    Round 2 - 10-9 Sanchez
    Round 3 - 10-9 Sanchez

    Sanchez 30-27

Hammer deserves credit for taking the fight on short notice but he is woefully under prepared.

Hammer looked wobbled by that body shot. Not sure he gets through here.

Hammer was in trouble in the 3rd round. He may get knocked out soon.

Sanchez is a problem for any top heavyweight. Not a fan friendly style though... And still not sure how well he can take a punch.

Two of the fights were entertaining.

Rice-Coffie was bad though, and the current fight isn't good.

Am I the only one seeing that nasty hematoma growing under the left arm of Hammer on his ribs? Or am I crazy?

    Round 3

Sánchez Faure is dropping anchor, then dropping altitude to hurl counter overhands when Ciocan blunders in with his own chopping rights. Sánchez Faure getting their first, and landing both more cleaner and more consistently, and much harder, sending beads of sweat flying off the Romanian's head. Sánchez Faure taking advantage of Ciocan's slow feet, landing an overhand right or jab on the head and then stretching his own upper half aside to whack the flank with a left hook before circling away. Ciocan upping his urgency a little, but having marginal if any more success landing anything. Grazing here and there at best.

    10-9 Sánchez Faure

    30-27 Sánchez Faure

He's almost as unprepared as when he took the Yoka fight WHILE he had Covid. He was days off a respirator for that. Still he's a name for the fighter he was but his heart isn't in it. Sanchez cannot make the mistake to awaken the fighting spirit of Hammer. Just plod away to win and test new things...
