I see how Ortiz timing with the counters are getting worse and worse. They were good in round 1 and 2

    Yikes

29-27 Martin. Thought he edged a largely uneventful third with the jab.

Ortiz" footwork went out the window. Something might be up. Or just an old, shot lower body.

Martin needs to stay safely busy. tire him a bit and the punch will come.

I had a weird feeling Martin would win. Ortiz is super old.

Ortiz will tire out if it goes into the 7th or 8th round.

    Round 3

Ortíz is turning in place, waiting to explode on Martin with a counter overhand left behind the southpaw jab but instead just colliding into clinches as Martin falls atop him. Martin using jab-feints to keep Ortíz in check as he circles him, then rushing in to saw above his eyes with a double jab. Martin staying tall, and staying restrained and frugal with his output, but the only guy landing in this one.

    10-9 Martin

    29-27 Martin

Ortiz doesn't seem comfortable fighting another southpaw.

Martin getting overzealous with the left hand. Looking for shots that aren't there and leaving himself open for counters.

Ortiz fundamentals are so much above Martin BUT I'm liking the patience of Martin, he isn't suffering nervous pressure.
