For those who watched, did this ppv deliver bang for buck?

They really outdid themselves with this one. I thought the Ruiz Jr v Arreola PBC highlights were a watershed moment, but they went above and beyond here. Quite incredible really :number_one:

Meh, in the final round of the main event, kinda. Until then not so much.

I wouldn't bet on Ortiz beating Kabayel if I were you.

Faust-Kiladze was a blast, and the main event was, I think, objectively an entertaining fight. The two undercard fights shown on the Fox portion of the telecast were worth watching, for different reasons. Really, the only two fights that detracted from the viewing experience were Sanchez-Ciocan and Rice-Coffie II. The fact that they occurred back to back did make said viewing a bit of a slog for that time period, though.

I only tuned in halfway through Rice vs. Polite-Coffie II so my overall experience wasn't great. :sisi1

The first five rounds of Martin vs. Ortíz were certainly interesting, but considering how many knockdowns there were not exactly edge of your seat stuff.

This one made me laugh though:

    ROUND 6

"Martin is caught between the ropes!"

    FIGHT RESULT

"He's the winner by technical knockout..."

I can appreciate the artistic choice of leaving some pretty crucial parts for the viewer's interpretation and imagination.

Old man strength prevailed, Ortiz learned something from Wilder, "These guys have to be perfect for 12 rounds, I only need to be perfect for two seconds"

The script was plain as day for Martin, survive the early rounds and then when Kongs gas tank was drained come on strong, sadly the Prince did not heed the script.

Legs strength of bambi but upper body power of a Gorilla, fair play to Ortiz he won, a win is a win.

Ah, you're viewing experience was incomplete, then. Fair enough.

At the very least check out the Kiladze-VV tilt. That, along with the main event, made the event worthwhile for me, even if much of what was sandwiched in between was a bit of a slog.

That's an excellent assessment. Those two fights were mediocre, but the rest of the card made up for it, and the Vykhryst-Kiladze was extremely entertaining, although marred by that horrible stoppage.
