Yeah, but would it hold up if he stopped facing cans?

Could he match Ortiz and dispose of Barrett in a few rounds?

Ortiz should cash in against Povetkin while he can.

His chances are slim, too big of a step up too soon, but at 35 he has no time to waste. Still, Povetkin is no world beater so Ortiz will have a legit shot if he delivers his A game.

If he passes on the oportunity to fight Povetkin he may never get to that oportunity again. Remember there is a Wlad Klitschko fight after that.

Yuniesky Gonzales silver medalist in heavy in Cuba now move down in weight to light heavy 13-0 in the pro ranks

Consuegra probably go for cruiserweight like Pedro Rodrigueez who got knocked out by Magomed Abdusalamov. Rodriguez a light heavy back in Cuba.

    Cruiser?

    He weighed 246 against Frazier.

    How tall is Consuegra?

Ortiz and Solis are two cubans with toally different development in professional boxing.
Solis been a totally disapointment from day one.
Ortiz looked like a guy falling out of cuban amateur elite losing to many young upcoming talents. But in USA he did take his traing very serious and doing his daily gym hours

Not overly impressed with him, but he looked better than I thought he would against Barrett. but the fact that Monte is his best oopponent to date 20 fights in is pretty pathetic if you ask me, he needs to face guys in the top 100 from here on out, no more tomato cans......

If Peter can get back into fight shape I wouldn't mind seeing him against Ortiz... If he wins this upcoming tournament, he'll probably have a pretty high ranking and lots of up and comers will be looking to add his scalp to their resume.. Peter is only 33 from what I can find, but many have expressed doubt about that being his true age.
