Good to see Ortiz respond in such a manner, let's just hope it isn't just talk from both sides. But let's not get ahead of ourselves this fight is far from done. They haven't even discussed terms, if Ortiz wants 2 mill as some have suggested for a Whyte fight this fight isn't happening. I hope this fight happens, cracking fight if it does. I think Ortiz beats Whyte but what do I know I thought Parker was going to beat him too.

Ortiz will send Whyte into retirement if the fight ever happens. Can't see Hearn making this fight as he knows Ortiz would destroy Whyte and the big payday Joshua vs Whyte is done for good. Whyte and Hearn are in trouble. Whyte ducked Ortiz and fought Parker, why he should fight him now? He wants the AJ payday. Next opponent will be soft or he will fight a guy who brings another good payday like a possible Chisora rematch in the UK.
Agreed. It’s just a pressure move to try to force Chisora into agreeing a reduced split for the rematch. You have to remember that this is going up against Warrington v Frampton. Whyte-Chisora is much better competition because casuals will lap it up. Hearn would make that PPV too. Don’t think even he would have th audacity to make Whyte-Ortiz PPV.
I sincerely hope Hearn makes this happen. Ortiz doesn't make huge purses in the US so the money he demands won't be astronomical I hope.
Yoel Romero, the UFC guy was on JRE and he said Ortiz is definitely over 40. Romero and Ortiz trainer together back in Cuba, and i can't the age Romero gave, but it was over 40.
Lol Whyte will get smashed to bits by Ortiz unless he's allowed to get away with the same stuff like he did against Parker which he probably will be. If Whyte wins it'll be probably be via stoppage after tackling Ortiz over the ropes WWE style or something stupid like that as he has no chance in an actual boxing contest.
Ortiz is gunna smoke Dillian, ain’t no excuses left. I hope this fight comes off and Dillian proves me wrong by taking this fight. I don’t wanna hear no excuses about etc.
