That's why Haymon took the chance to fight Ortiz, because they knew he was sick......................can you imagine what a younger Ortiz would have done to Wilder?! Joshua will knock Wilder out, but that fight will not happen for years if ever. Tyson Fury will toy with Wilder, Vlad should come out of retirement and knock Wilder out and he iwll be 41 March 25th, or a 46 year old Vitali would knock Wilder out, but he is busy as mayor of Kiev..............
Imagine Wilder's team looking at an Ortiz from his 2015 or even his bleached blonde hair days hahaha. They would have NEVER put Wilder in the ring with that version of Ortiz.
Think about about Wilder opponents and how people are always commenting that (so and so) "took a risk that he didn't have to take and paid for it". Here's what no one will say publicly. Of course guys fight dangerously against Wilder. IMO the reason is that they more or less know that they're fighting against Wilder, the referee, and judges. If it isn't true, it doesn't matter. That is the perception. So what's the result? The perception changes their style and they take risks that they normally wouldn't because they feel that they can't win a decision.
You can't just change meds like they're sweets. It's quite amusing though that it's been proven that Ortiz had huge blood pressure issues, but people want to ignore it.
