    If top boxers don't wan't to fight him why would UFC fighters.

    I actually like Ortiz and know that he'd crush Cormier, but Cormier gains nothing by fighting Ortiz. Even Tyson Fury admitted right after winning the title against Wlad that he'd never fight Ortiz, since Ortiz brings no money to the table and is all risk.

    Actually could be a smart move by Ortiz for doing this, keeps his name relevant after a hard loss against Wilder.

    Being Cuban and all... I wonder if Ortiz flirted with amateur wrestling at all before sticking with boxing. Wouldn't shock me. If Ortiz were a couple of years younger he'd be a great asset to the UFC's HW division, now he's too old and stuck in his ways to cross train and fill in those small cracks that one needs to be successful in the HW division. That being said if he has any real amateur wrestling experience he might be able to transition and have some good success.
