Ortiz's career best win was over Byrant Jennings Jennings was subsequently stopped by Rivas and decisioned by Joe Joyce Hardly elite. He was gassed up by Al Haymon so much in order to market him as a valid opponent to Wilder. Despite being clear he A. Isnt that good. B. Is far too old to be able to fight for 12 rounds and not get caught.
yeah but Ortiz was the first to stop Jennings.. the other guys got a "broken in" version of Jennings. hell Klitschko couldn't even stop Jennings
Fair play but in the Chisora rematch he didnt go in for the attack because Chisora needs to be cooked loke Ruiz does ...not because of stamina He said the more you hit Chisora the more he comes forward so he had to tired Chisora out before going for it
What was Jennings best win? The Wlad that fought Jennings was the shot and old version that went onto suffer a mental breakdown in the ring against Tyson Fury. It was a version going through alot of personal issues with a trailor trash wife who had his kid.
Guess Whyte broke in Parker than when he floored him and Chisora when he KOd him cold should be easier for others to do? Wake me up when it happens
Whats the point? One mans credible is another mans “actually back in my day this fighter is considered trash and he way past prime,” Whyte and AJ have better resumes than Ortiz for damn sure These PBC fighters are brainwashing the masses not fighting dangerous guys just content to cruise through Kauffmans and Stivernes and Breazeales give me a break Even Fury is no threat,. Sure he can dance around to a UD so what? Fight someone that matches you fire for fire AJ and Ruiz/Whyte/Povetkin Whyte and Chisora/Rivas/Parker These guys all bring the heat... you are in for a tough fight with these opponents... relentless pace, speed, power, hunger, thats why they are top ten
No point, just curious as to whom you would choose if someone asked you-- what u asked of another that's all. Answer provided. Ortiz might have gained your respect had he taken on Whyte and Chisora/Rivas/Parker. Gotcha.
Luis Ortiz is a better boxer than his record suggests. In light of that, he's clearly a waste. His best win was Bryant Jennings and then an ancient Tony Thompson who appeared to only be there for financial purposes. For people to suggest he is better than Dillian Whyte is absolutely ludicrous. Dillian Whyte has fought competitive British level competition, European level/world-fringe contenders, world-level contenders and former world champions. Furthermore, he has handled opposition in a variety of ways, via knockout and accomplished technical performances.
If Fat Elvis Whyte has an “accomplished technical performance” to his name, then Luis Ortiz is a heavyweight Lomachenko.
