Since there were a lot of threads in the recent hours about Luis Ortiz's hand - that it was broken and how he is still going to fight with a horrible injury, I decided to make a quick research and share it with you guys. Someone already posted this : http://boxingego.com/luis-king-kong-ortiz-vs-malik-scott/ - you can obviously see on the photo that he has the same "bump" or whatever it is on his hand. This was on November 12, 2016. Random photo from google: https://goo.gl/images/ffwZej - He has the same "bump" on his hand. Check this video after 4:36 - This content is protected - He has the same "bump" on the same hand. Sure he is fighting with a broken hand for years... Calm down guys.
Never like it when a boxer guarantees a KO, because recent history has shown that then it probably won't happen. Still I stand by Ortiz by KO, although there are doubts.
Pacquiao had that on his hand for the Mosley fight and I remember Pac Fans were super concerned about. From an article back then: "It's really nothing new, the lump. We've had it checked out, we've had it looked at by doctors. It's not a cyst but it's like a cyst. Manny has no pain associated with it. It's been there before and there are no side effects to it." And a pic: http://www.boxnews.com.ua/photos/2547/Manny-Pacquiao-Shane-Mosley1150.jpg
Tru School Sports supposedly has insight into the Ortiz camp and said that there was something particulaly alarming coming from inside the camp. He also said that he was irresponsible to mention it publicly and wouldn't reveal what he knew unless the performance of Ortiz come Saturday night warrants it. This content is protected
It could be a break that didn’t heal correctly. It’s called Carpal Bossing, Its actually the name given to a condition which causes a lump on the back of the hand at the junction of the long finger bones and the small wrist bones.
hard to believe that hes not uninjured most of the time , at this age he'll be carrying a plethora of bumps and bruises as part of his anatomy.
Very good title. Deontay Wilder is simply a coddled Michael Grant or Derrick Jefferson in a period where he can make the most of his limited ability. I've said this for many years on here..... Grant leading up to the Lewis fight was better than Wilder. But that fight ruined him and made him a journeyman. He lost all ambition and drive thereafter.
I love the name of the video. If Wilder loses someone should create a thread named like this: The next Michael Grant.
Does it really? There are whispers of injuries and a really bad training camp on behalf of Ortiz. If there's whispers, it's probably true. Who cares anyways though? Imo Ortiz hasn't looked good in his last 3 fights and instead looked past his prime.
