Somebody asked Stephen Espinoza what he thought of Ortiz ducking Joshua. Espinoza said he doesn’t think it’s a duck as 6/7 weeks isn’t enough time to train for a world title fight. Quack quack.
My 2 cent on the topic. Firstable i do think Joshua will KO Ortiz and will make easy work of him. I also think Joshua is better than Wilder and will ko him as well. But here is my problem. Everyones knows that Miller would have taken 6,5mil. with full prep. time for the match. Joshua will make US debut, also have not much time to find decent opponent. So this was a Miller paycut and if he really wanted decent replacement, why shouldn't he just throw 3mil. first offer, if they reject it, send second with 4 or 5.or between this and if they reject just go anf said it straight and everyones will look at this as a huge duck. I also think Ortiz was the best option out there. And if he was to fight him Joshua stock would have gone high and they would have still saved cash from Miller paycheck. And btw people should stop looking at how much boxer x was earned before. Everything deppends on the situation and the opponent.
I'm not sure why there's so much to and fro about this here. Ortiz has rejected the fight, let's move on.
It's everybody else in the world's fault that AJ can't get an opponent. Even though they all say the same things, they all are liars except AJ and Hearn...lol, gotcha.
Didn't you say Breazeale will "break Wilder's jaw"? I just want to make sure I mark the post for future reference.
Ortiz isn't lying. He's withholding information. If the offer is that bad then out Hearn for the cheapskate he is and watch the fans go ballistic. Don't tell us an offer is derisory without saying how much it was. The bit about him not receiving an official contract for an offer he'd already rejected was also pretty funny.
Joshua fast becoming the most ducked boxer in modern history. Wilder, Whyte and now Ortiz all not wanting that smoke for all those belts and all that money. Shame on them all.
