Wilder's Team don't feel the need to fill the crowd. I've heard it all now. Seriously this Dubblechin clown has really outdone himself recently to rise to the top tier of the idiot rankings on ESB.
Previously high paydays have clearly nothing to do with this, since Miller's previously highest paydays weren't high, either. They have the money they budgeted to pay Miller ... Ortiz is replacing Miller ... So give that money to Ortiz ... And lets see the fight. How freaking difficult is that?
Yeah, it's becoming clear Hearn isn't as great at this as he thinks he is. At this point, it seems like he can't even get Mike Hunter to sign off.
Mr. Anytime, any place desperate for a shot at the titles boogeyman whole schtick was smoke and mirrors and you don't seem able to handle this. How can a fee x10 your previous highest payday ever be considered lowball? Do you accept his whole rhetoric was complete BS? He's been offered life changing cash out money/a chance to become unified champ and he's skulked off complaining about an offer he wouldn't get from any other fighter's team. Madness that you're seeing this as anything other than him ducking the fight.
You trying to paper over the cracks in your pathetic arguments is beyond funny at this point. See you in the funnies.
Why doesn't @Dubblechinn offer a ban bet on which fight brings in more revenue!? Is it because the most famous boxer in the world is fighting in a non PPV event both sides of the pond!?
It's too complicated and not really fair for Joshua. Showtime charges $9.99 a month. How much does a channel like BT Sport charge a month (isn't that where it's going to air)? You'd have to multiply all the people who watch the Wilder fight on Showtime and BT Sport, or record it and watch it later, and then multiply how much the channel costs, then include the TV rights for other countries around the world like Turkey (which shows all the Showtime fights on Dmax), and compare it with DAZN US subscribers (which is kept top secret but is an apparently dismal figure - like in the thousands) and UK PPV buys (which aren't wildly more in US dollars than the DAZN subscription) and whatever deals they have. Truth is, if we measured which brought in more REVENUE, Joshua and his opponent are so wildly overpaid compared to what the 4 a.m. PPV and the 100,000 DAZN subscribers will likely generate ... that the Joshua fight likely isn't generating ANY profits at all. I think everyone agrees DAZN is just a money giveaway at this point under the belief that someday they'll have enough subscribers to start breaking even. The VIEWERSHIP bet is likely much fairer. And Joshua probably still loses that.
Luis Ortiz "I'll step in for Miller anytime for any money" Later "I will not accept $5 million,I have been told to say it is a lowball" Anyway, sounds like Hearn is coming back with an improved offer, probably what Miller was in line to get. Let's see what happens, let's see what you say then.
Goodness grief. You mention Mayweather in a discussion about low gates using a figure of 19k as some kind of argument as why gates do not matter without addressing the fact that Floyd Mayweather broke all the records for gate revenue generated. Gate money mattered to Floyd Mayweather an awful lot so please do not try and claim otherwise. If Dentoy Wilder could sell 10k tickets and still generate huge amount of gate revenue I would say good luck to the guy but as you know even at low ticket prices he still can't fill an arena. Still it doesn't matter as gate revenue doesn't matter does it. The most famous boxer in the world just isn't that famous.
It doesn't matter,im not going to break down logic to you, everyone on here knows that's a waste of time. lol
Dubblechin , you said in a previous post-thread Hearn would offer less than 500K that is why Ortiz likely said no . 5 Million , 4 belts and MSG on away soil for AJ and you still claiming something else , what would happen if turned out 10 million was offered to Ortiz and Ortiz still refused ?
