what is this tool talking about more than once? he's the only heavyweight on all year round vada testing, and probably the cleanest heavyweight out there right now! do your research! morales was in a similar situation because of the meat he ate!
Fair enough it's hard fighting someone who just wants to run and spoil, nevertheless Ortiz looked shocking in there. He was slow, ponderous his punches lacked snap and just seemed to be placed, there was no evidence whatsoever of this great power. Going off what we saw there Joshua would demolish him.
Tyson Fury would quite comfortably outbox him from the distance. That's what I learned from this fight. Footwork and speed is the key to victory in this matchup.
I think Beterbiev is a different beast but it's hard to see him beating the Kovalevs and Stevensons of the dvision. We've yet to find out though.
What a shocking fight that was last night, but the one thing that came out of it was that Orftiz lacks technical ability when fighters are looking to run/spoil.....on his best night he cannot beat AJ
lol now this is the same aj who was dominated by a cuban boxer, ortiz may not have let his hands go but he won every round
Agreed, Fury would be in total control against Ortiz, his size, movement and jab would have Ortiz befuddled and left swiping at the air. Too many people read too much into the Thompson and Jennings fights. Thompson was shot and Jennings style suited Ortiz, with him standing right in front of him. Ortiz is clearly dangerous if he doesn't have to chase you down or cut off the ring he needs to set his feet to unload that vaunted power, so if you keep him moving and resetting he's left unable to throw and when he does he's only able to throw single shots.
Joshua is relatively inexperienced as a fighter in general never mind as a Pro and yet he is still leagues ahead of Ortiz, but the reality is that no one can possibly take any positives from that performance last night, it was an extremely poor showing from both men!
