    According to Ortiz's promoter.
Not a bad eliminator by any means. They're both better than Rahman anyway.
I reckon Ortiz stops fat Ustinov, Ortiz v Povetkin would be interesting...:think

Hard to predict the outcome here. Haven't seen too much of Ortiz, but he seems to be the best Cuban atm. Ustinov is not a bad fighter, who presents a lot of problems due to his size and natural strength. I think both could actually beat Povetkin.

Is this a eliminator for the WBA World Title (Wlad), or for the WBA "World Title" (Pov)?

    It's for Povetkin's belt.
The WBA rankings and eliminators only affect the regular belt. The Super belt that Wlad holds is just a symbolic trinket that the WBA hand out. Wlad won't be subject to any madatories by the WBA, all he has to do to keep hold of his Super belt is hold on to the IBF and WBO belts.

I rate Mike Perez ahead of Ortiz, shame he is lazy/has poor management.

Pity they didn't do this prior to giving Rahman the shot. Looks a decent fight on paper between two big hitters. Would give Ustinov the slight edge. With him being the likely 'home' fighter he should be safe in this fight. The winner would be a deserving top 10 HW.

Good match. If Ortiz is any good he should beat Ustinov without much trouble.

Not a bad fight and a step up for both fighters. I don't know if this is a final eiminator or if the winner here will still have to win another fight. It would be ideal if the winner of this had to face someone like Chagaev to get a shot.

That's because Sturm only holds the WBA Super belt, and no other titles.
Although why the **** he was given the Super belt in the first place when he wasn't holding any other titles is beyond me.

I think Perez is more of a threat to the likes of Povetkin than Ortiz.....Perez seems like he has the goods but likely too small for the top of the division, he'd whup Povetkin though!
