    Dear The Seamus,

Tom Sharkey has all of the skills and punching power needed to win this match up. Their is no other logical conclusion.

What makes you think Tom Sharkey was wide open?

There's zero evidence Ortiz wins this early.

Reggie Johnson put him on the canvas. Luis would put him thru it.

And I'm sure you'll place a heavy sum on guys like Hasim Rahman and Sam Peter to KO him in 1 or 2 if and when Toney fights them.

Reports of his fights, and also of his sparring with a young Jack Johnson.

Nope its in either Odd's book or Pollack's, and I'm just settling down to watch Once Upon A Time In The West for the 7th time, so I'm not going to look for it.

And which of those 4 fights did Toney win?

You said, and I quote, 'stand up to him'. A draw, a no contest, and two split decisions comes under that IMO. Unless you want to debate semantics, which I can't be arsed with.

"You brought two too many"! One of my all-time favourite movie scenes. And that Ennio Morricone music - wow.

OK. Toney would have a chance but I think the best version of Ortiz could get him in a lot of trouble. Ortiz could counter very well and his left coming from the back was very dangerous to a fighter of Toney's laziness and stance.

Now, Ill also pick Toney to KO Sharkey and embarrass Jeffries.

Supposedly this fight was all but signed until Sharkey picked up a rib injury.
