Both past prime but still tough, who would win?

Ortiz by decision. Takam doesn´t have enough in him to get the stoppage.
    Possible FOTY.

I think Ortiz by TKO. It'll be an interesting old men fight.

My first thought is this is 2 fighters who should be retired rather than having their brains shaken around by absorbing more head shots!!

One of them is 42 and the other reportedly 43....thats not my idea of any FOTY

I don't think Ortiz reacts well to Takam's high output smothering style and loses on points. It'd suck if we got another Chisora situation though, where Takam was easily outboxing Ortiz then takes a big shot out of nowhere and gets stopped. That fight ending really sucked, and it's criminal we haven't seen a rematch yet.

Just a side note I've always liked Takam. He's one of those underrated fringe guys like Steve Cunningham whose record belies his quality. It was great to see him finally getting a name (albeit a hypejob) on his record last night.

Ortiz is likely a good ten years older and his chin is gone. If they fight now, Takam stops him early.
