    Quite a close fight, but might edge to Byrd, Ortiz is a great counter puncher and Byrd wouldn’t give him the counter punching opportunities, although Ortiz could also apply educated pressure when he had to at times, against Malik Scott for example.

    I would probably be a terrible fight with lots of staring and posturing. I echo the sentiments above that it would probably be close, this one has SD/MD/Draw written all over it.

    Ortiz did have a time, but I think Byrd will not be blown out here. His speed and durability will be enough in the times his skill allows unfavourable exchanges and he eats some bigguns. Byrd, decision.

    Byrd failed to beat Golota, and Scott, a guy who had never really gonr down on the cards, didn't win a second against Ortiz. This wouldn't work out for Byrd.
