Old grandpa Kong, would have been swinging on the trees, and big George would have chopped it down with his fists!

I know Foreman has the significant resume ,Ortiz doesn't even have one, people have a bad habit of asking WHO did WHO beat ,but WHO isn't a fighter.

HEAVY HANDED CLUBBER vs COUNTER PUNCER SOUTHPAW

Foreman would have a problem here against a boxer/puncher with good ring IQ .and while Ortiz looks small in this era so woulod Foreman even at 260 if he fought guys over 6'5 . Foreman himself said most likely he would never have beat Ortiz but he says a lot of things ,going by the fight itself its either a MD/SP or UD win for Ortiz or K.O for Foreman.

I think Ortiz would pick 70's foreman apart and would tire him out where Foreman starts to get sloppy and unwind ,Ortiz can stop that Foreman ,90's foreman would be a little more difficult in this match up but Foreman has never really defeated a boxer puncher in the 80's / 90's besides Cooney who was a shell of himself and Cooper who was no Ortiz and Alex Stewart another 6'3 footer who could be the blueprint for this fight who was able to pop shot Foreman and swell him up .

Ortiz is a big unit with skill ,decent puncher and Foremans pace may let Ortiz think a little to much in that one. I cant help but think slight edge would favor Ortiz who also proved a solid chin he took direct shots from Wilder and siding with his K.O loss the guy was tired ,his feet slowed and wilder slowly closed that shot in after the first round was over.

The closest to an Ortiz I guess was Mike Moorer who doesnt have Ortiz chin and punch selection . Based on that even if Foreman was older himself ,im going with southpaw Ortiz who doesn't get knocked out late and runs away with a MD win and another counter puncher is a tad to quick to get over on Foreman .

Again lets not confuse this thread ,this doesn't mean Wilder defeats Foreman bc that's a terrible stylistic match for him .

Ortiz early KO if we are talking about prime for prime.
I mean when he was captured by Romans in 29 CE, he managed to fight off 12 members of the Preatorian Guard with his bare fists.

We are all forgetting Ortiz was mummified for 1900 years. Romans had him in a tomb to use him as a weapon in desperate times, however the fall of the Roman Empire was so swift that the Emperor forgot about him and his mummified body was left there for 1900 years and later found in a Ziggurat by Jack Johnson, they sparred afterward. that was his first sparring in 1900 years, Prime Ortiz of Roman Era smashes Foreman
