Luis Ortiz vs. Joe Joyce 95% likely next.

I have a feeling that Ortiz knocks Joyce out in less than 7 rounds. Ortiz loves you to come to him,and thats exactly how Joyce will fight.

Joyce is very easy to hit and Ortiz is a huge counter puncher. I dont see Joyce changing his tactics massively and even if he does plan to be elusive, he goes back to type during the fight and gets cleaned out.

 

Ortiz wins even without a training camp.

 

Im surprised after 33 fights that Ortiz would need a tuneup before facing a fighter currently at 7-0.

Still I would favour Joyce. I think Joyce would outwork Ortiz and stop him

 

If there is a 95% chance of this fight taking place, there is a 95% chance of Ortiz KOing Joyce, ruining Joyce forever.
This is a really bad fight for Joyce. His promoter is throwing him to the wolves.

 

I think it's a desperation move if it happens. Joyce is really struggling to find decent opposition that is willing to face him and accelerate his progress and he doesn't have the time to waste padding his record for a few years on the usual journeymen types.

 

I agree its a bad match up but I still favour joyce but its such a high risk low reward

 

I think it would elevate Joyce's career really well.
So many seem to see this fight differently to me but I can only see Joyce clearly winning and most likely by stoppage.
I don't think Ortiz is mobile enough to beat Joyce

 

I don’t what the issue would be for Joyce. If he won, he’d be in discussion for a title shot and likely be placed very highly in the WBC rankings. He’s nowhere near mandatory status so he has no position to sit on.

If he lost, he’d join the likes of Chisora, Browne, and Duhapas as a known but beatable opponent.

 

For me I don't think Ortiz will be able to counter successfully under the withering physical and mental pressure Joyce will put him under. That'll take a couple of rounds to take effect however, and if he lands anything big in the meantime then Joyce better be packing some very sturdy whiskers and the heart of a lion to keep coming forward. I don't see either fighter clearly winning at all, but props if your prediction comes through.

 

I guess we won't know till or if it happens.
I just think Joyce is wrong for Ortiz at this time

 

Ortiz will time Joyce and beat the crap out of him.

 

Joyce is a very big, strong and powerful boxer. But his boxing ability looks so limited

Maybe it’s different when you’re in there with him, but I see Ortiz picking him apart all night
