It'd likely be a close fight that could swing either way as all Parker fights seem to be. He got hurt badly by a headclash that was scored a KD against Whyte and that may have effected the rest of the fight for him though no disputing the second KD. He still did well to come back. In it and nearly stopped Whyte at the end.

He did well against Joshua though both were way to tentative in that fight for my liking and Fury, well no one looks good against him as he doesnt engage, goes running and makes it awkward for anyone. He just isn't as good as his cousin at in and ends up in cuddles on the ropes a lot.

This ! Time for people to stop talking about this Monster. Parkers to tough and to fresh with underrated skills himself to not get past Ortiz !

This. Parker doesn't the power or an effective right hand to keep Ortiz honest. Parker has a good chin, so he most likely wouldn't get stopped, but he'd be picking himself up off the canvas a couple of times.

Pleeeeeease let this happen! 2 Ortiz's in a tag team couldn't hang with Parker for 12 rounds ffs.
Parker all wrong for Ortiz: Good footwork, great engine, fast(ish) hands and great chin. Parker puts it on the ol' boy for 6 rounds and Ortiz is out of gas. Bit of a mis-match actually IMO but I'm sure I'm in the minority. Put the house on JP if this happens.....

Parker has no heart so he will fold as soon as Ortiz starts to land his straight left. Joseph would be happy to lose a decision.

Ortiz's last fight showed why he'll never be an elite heavyweight.

Could have koed that guy in 3, but refused to take any risks and bored everyone to final round stoppage.

I'm not sure who would win, but I think Parker and Ortiz would give us the dullest fight possible.

Mate, Parker gave AJ all he could handle and you think he get's his running shoes on when facing Ortiz's left hand??? You lot have bought into the myth hook, line and sinker ha ha. There's levels, Parker has been consistently giving top-tier opponents very competitive fights for the last few years and Ortiz just hasn't....at all. He get's steam-rollered IMO but I hope we actually get to see. Seems a good re-announcement fight for JP and he can take advantage of Ortiz's over-inflated standing right now.

Gave AJ all he could handle? Did he even hit AJ once cleanly during the fight? Don't think so. Takam and Povetkin were much better against AJ than Parker. Parker was normally levels above Whyte but even lacked the heart and the desire to beat the body snatcher. Ortiz is a level above Whyte so easy fight for King Kong.

Ortiz by Late TKO or UD.

Parker doesn’t have the nastiness required to drag Ortiz into a dog fight, he will take the easier way out and try to box to decision loss rather than put all in the line.

Ortiz would beat Parker pretty easily i think even at age 39/40. Parker hasn't the power.

Parker stops Ortiz around the The or 9th round - RSC with Ortiz on his feet but taking too much punishment

I highly doubt Ortiz vs Parker would happen anytime soon. Parkers rebuilding and so he's starting back a little lower on the ladder and working himself back up to the top guys. Ortiz isn't a 'rebuilding' type fighter.
