Kovalev will hit him, but Ward is crafty enough to then nullify attacks and hold etc.... similar to what Floyd did when Mosley hit him with that bomb of a right hand.

Funnily enough we've only known both men to be hurt by the same man, Darnell Boone.

McDonnell still pumping out jabs but Solis doesn't care and keeps smacking him with leads and some rather nasty looking shots. A few signs that McDonnell is getting into it, but he's bothered by Solis who is stinging him like an angry wasp.

    20-18 SOLIS

I meant to question taking a dangerous fight for small money, and he's losing so far.

McDonnell is not doing so well against the ropes.
    Needs to stay away.

    Round 3

Jamie dancing around jabbing Solis in the face, Solis trying to get on the inside eats a few uppercut and hooks from Jamie Solis lands a flurry of overhands while Jamie is caught on the ropes, blocking the shots with his hands, McDonnell landing one twos in the middle of the ring, , Solis pins him on the ropes, Jamie slides out, jabs Solis a few times, more jabs from McDonnell hook to the body of Solis.

    McDonnell 10-9 Close

McDonnell stops the rot and arguably took the third round, but his issue is that jab - that weapon that has brought him so much success isn't working, and he's not using it as a deterrent and not following it up with right hands or left hands. So the judges may well go with Solis on aggression..

I thought that might be what you meant, that being said its Bantamweight, not a lot of money regardless.
