Who would win between Ortiz and Wilder? Wilder's footwork is even worse than Ortiz's.

What have we learnt tonight, more about Ortiz.
Scott is a strange fighter, lasted 12 with a big puncher but was merely surviving and had no ambition, Ortiz meanwhile his footspeed and handspeed were really lacking, he failed to put any real combinations together, all in all he was very poor tonight against a very poor Scott.
Perhaps it's what Ortiz needs as everyone else avoids him, tonight he looked ordinary and some fighters may well fancy themselves against him now.

Possibly the worst fight I've ever seen. Poor from Scott but Ortiz could have done more than plod around the ring after him.

Anybody that says he threw the fight against Wilder isn't thinking or a moron. This is Malik Scott.

Whyte would have had Scott out of there.

Joshua has nothing to fear from Ortiz except a single big shot. He looked very plodding in there and is there for the taking

Hearn brought in Malik Scott to go down in about 90 seconds, and showcase Ortiz, and Scott embarrassed them all. Terrible fight. Ortiz's image suffers.

Matchroom deserved this after the decision in the previous fight. Karma's a b*tch.

I agree the hype was premature. I also have questioned his ability and was quite happy when Hearn picked Scott because I wanted to see how Ortiz dealt with movement and clearly my suspicions were confirmed that he's great with an opponent who comes to him or is right there to be hit, but I think he'll struggle with some of the bigger men in the division that will make him chase them.
