Luis Ortiz vs. Zhang Zhilei

Zhang might ko Ortiz at this point in time.

 

Zhang's killer instincts are phenomonal. So is his one-punch power. He'll pen up King Kong in a corner and club him like a baby seal.

Ortiz's legs are gone...no way he keeps Zhang off of him long enough for Zhilei's gas tank to drain.

 

The fight shouldn't be made. Ortiz dominated Ruiz physically and was still being put down. Zhang would absolutely dominate Ortiz physically, was a better amateur boxer, and has 1000x the punching power. Ortiz should fight light punchers who are shorter than him.

That said, if Zhang could get Ortiz and Chisora prior to fighting Joshua, that would be huge for him.

 

Oldtiz couldnt take Ruiz's biggest shots when he threw them. Zhang will knock Oldtiz out cold!

 

Zhang would KO Ortiz who has always been chinny.

Zhang is a bigger more powerful Ortiz with more of a chin, perhaps slower and less skilled.

zhang. Ortiz punch resistance is completely gone, it's very hard to win a fight when you go 3 times to the canvas.

 

I think Ortiz will retire, if he tries once more as sort of a cash out fight I doubt it goes 2 rounds.

Zhang KO’s the current version of Ortiz within 5 rounds imo. I hadn’t seen that much of Zhang until the Hrgovic fight (mostly just highlights), but I was pretty impressed. He definitely has a good chin and a lot of power. Prime Ortiz may have been able to take his punch, but I doubt he can now.
