I think 154lb would be perfect for Rodriguez. Great match up!

I take Rodriguez, 15 round decision, in a technical masterclass of a bout from both men.

Rodriguez would show he has the extra level to McCallum, though, and prove he was greater.

Stylewise Rodriguez definitely has the edge.

I see no reason why he couldn't do to Mike what Kalambay did in their first fight.

Very nice thread, Robert. I'm going to go with Luis Rodriguez. I think he'll be quick and savvy enough to exploit Mike's only real weakness ie that he was a bit one paced. Mike's only other area where he didn't excel was in the one punch power dept so I can't see him taking Luis out with one shot and Luis will keep moving and pecking away, styaing one step ahead.

I look at it as the Kalambay fight. Luis won't win any friends in the crowd and will keep exchanges to a minimum and sneak a 9-6ish points win. Obviously Mike is the greater Jnr middle and probably greater fighter overall but Luis is all wrong for him.

Rodriguez. Clearly superior fighter and with an even clearer style edge. 10-5 decision over 15.

I think Rodriguez would outwork him. I think Mike is one level below the likes of Luis and Griffith. Rodriguez could fight at any range and seamlessly switch thru various styles.
