    Round 2

Douglas is jabbing and following Courter, dropping the right on the back of his neck as Courter leans in low and throws underhand combos to the body or launches up big left hands. Douglas pushes down on Courter in a clinch and backs out. Left jabs by Douglas stepping in. Courter ducks and pops Douglas in the mouth with a right jab, then hurls in a left and misses over Douglas' head. Both men hook as Courter is ducking and rolling to his right, both grazing.

    10-9 Douglas

    20-18 Douglas

Douglas is jabbing and trying hard to locate Courter's face with the right cross, but mostly brushing at his nape with it as Courter dips in. High lefts by Courter, off-mark. Body shots traded on the inside as Douglas gets inside with his left jab, Courter grazing him with a high right hook slapped lightly on the cheek. Courter has a cut and swelling on his right eye. Big hook downstairs by Douglas, and Courter takes a knee.

    Round 1

Peterkin is sticking the right jab as he stalks the shorter Burris around the ring. Burris is throwing straight flurries with his elbows up at his chest, pumping away and twisting his hips until Peterkin jabs through and they tie up. Right hand by Burris bouncing off the left temple of Peterkin. 1-2s by Peterkin walking Burris down and getting frequently tied up as Burris shimmies and dives in.

    10-9 Peterkin

    Round 2

Peterkin is using the right jab to measure as he backs out and steps left to set up the big left cross. Burris is waiting on Peterkin, bouncing around on the outside, leaping in throwing wide punches and hoping to get lucky on the way in between short clinches. Peterkin is tagging Burris atop the head with the left hand as Burris moves outside to reset.

    10-9 Peterkin

    20-18 Peterkin

    Round 4

Peterkin follows Burris, moving in straight lines and feeling out range for his straight left. Burris dances around, confident in his head movement, easily turning his face away from Peterkin's few range-finding right jabs. Peterkin hurts Burris with a big straight left and moves in with a right hook. Burris manages to hold on and then scram outside. Another long huge straight left hand lead by Peterkin, hurting Burris severely. Peterkin loads up a right hook from too far outside and cuffs Burris atop the head as Burris is bending his knees and falling in to clinch. More left hands by Peterkin in pursuit, no jab to set up. Burris survives.

    10-9 Peterkin

    40-36 Peterkin

    Round 5

Peterkin is pawing with his right jab and tossing out his left hand from outside, clapping down on Burris' back as Burris twists in and grabs him. Peterkin is slashing down at the body as Burris is dancing away when the ref makes them let go. Burris drops his arms to catch the body shots and attempt to jerk Peterkin into another clinch. Nice right hook by Peterkin. Burris is flicking his left jab up from the hip and curling his back, dipping to his right as he backs up to slip Peterkin's right jab.

    10-9 Peterkin

    50-45 Peterkin

Adams, QuiƱones, and Shields agree that it was a good stoppage. They say that in an important championship bout it would be different, and in that context you may send out the guy taking a beating for one last round to give him a chance (within reason, assuming it wasn't a horrific beating he was taking) but that here it made sense to spare Burris three minutes of needless additional punishment.

The commentators are saying that while Arocho was brought in as the 'opponent' for undefeated Bryant "Pee Wee" Cruz, he is capable when motivated and having so many draws (four draws, exceeding his three wins) while never being the house fighter tells you he probably got shafted a few times. Of his seven losses, one came by SD to Joseliz Cepeda from earlier tonight.

    Round 1

Arocho is doubling his jab as Cruz is circling and setting up the 1-2. Cruz is leaning slightly over and jabbing the body while moving. BIG LEFT HOOK BY AROCHO!! Cruz is down. Arocho moves in with more hooks and some clubbing rights but Cruz is able to clinch and survive.

    10-8 Arocho
