anyone watch the show last night (i was forced by the missus by the way) apparently got over 9 million veiwers last night and twitter was going mad about it cant be bad for him at the start of his pro carrer (if he does) as long as he stays injury free, iv seen ppl taking the mick out of him for it but i think its a smart move

Not a bad move in terms of gaining attention from mainstream media and non-boxing fans, but the Olympics buzz will have worn off by the time he does turn pro, if that is what he intends to do.

Not sure if he'll have quite the star power that a superstars champion will do.

Seems like a nice lad and is very marketable. At 25 he needs to make the decision to turn pro pronto though.

I don't think you can criticize a young gold medallist for doing one of these shows, it's usually the old has-beens who are clearly trying to get one more desperate shot at the limelight that are open to it.

He would have a massive following in Hull if he turned pro but outside of Hull, I'm not sure if his style would be a big draw.

The best Bantamweight prospect at the moment is Kal Yafia so I'm not sure were Campbell would fit in if he signed with Matchroom for instance.

He's already got a massive following in Hull!

The money he makes from this show will be life-changing for him,he's just had another nipper too, and he is as nice as he comes across. Good on him.

No idea if he will turn pro, though I'd like to see him give it a crack. His medal will always sell a few more seats than the usual new-starter so I think there'll be more options than just Matchroom open to him.
